Höehenhaus Odenwald in Modautal

Have felt very comfortable. Great view of the Ried, good cakes. It was a great afternoon.

After a hike with 13 people we stopped at the Höhenhaus Odenwald. We were really surprised: the menu is not extensive, but seasonal Odenwald specialties are offered. Many of our group had different meals. Everything was homemade with fresh ingredients. The dishes were not run-of-the-mill. You noticed that the chef creates the dishes with passion and he still understands that he can add a special kick to the dish. The plates were very lovingly arranged which rounded off the whole thing. Thank you for the friendly and familiar atmosphere. We would love to come back.

Wild garden, courteous staff, good food.

Very friendly staff. The breakfast is great, everything your heart desires. The rooms are large, bright and clean. The beds are getting old, but the mattresses are fine. Great for a short vacation. Price performance ratio is very good.

This hotel has not earned a star and must be removed. We don't have a good word about it! Hotel room cold, shower cold, no TV on first day, 2nd day but 4 channels, heating was not warm enough because there was too much air in it, and also made too much noise, door jammed. All in all this hotel was a nightmare and is not recommended.

We were today for lunch in the Höhenhaus. Everything was very satisfactory, friendly service and good food. The goose dinner was very good. We will be back.

Were there breakfast and could enjoy an excellent buffet! A lot of choice. From sausage, cheese to yogurt, cereals, fruit, delicious homemade jams, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, cooking eggs, juices and coffee ... Just everything your heart desires 😊 Very good service! Price Performance Top 👍 And the most beautiful was the great view. We sat on the back terrace overlooking the Odenwald 😃 We spontaneously show room for possible nights later. All nicely clean and friendly furnished, with great views Highly recommended!!! 👌🏻

Modautal OT Neunkirchen is one of the highest elevations in the front, Hessian Odenwald. You can walk here wonderful, the local specialties of the Odenwald are served lovingly and in excellent quality. The Höhenhaus also has guest rooms. Overnight stay and restaurant also offers the "Haus am Mühlberg" in OT Brandau. The Odenwald is simply one of the most beautiful forests in Hesse.

Duration was very long, then had stomach problems

Were there today running to the Emperor's Tower on the way back we passed the Höhenhaus and read Odenwälder buffet are pure and felt equally well cared for it was so nice really great company and great buffet we were there from 1pm to 6pm top keeps it up .Bye for now

Good food, good prices

Neunkirchen is the highest elevation in the front Odenwald. In the past there was even a floodlit ski lift. Recommended as a destination. In good weather with a great view to the Taunus and Frankfurt. The Höhenhaus is a hotel and restaurant right next to the large car park.

Went there today for a nice walk. Very cozy and rustic. Staff very friendly and courteous and the food (a Tarte) was top class again and again.

We were several times in the winter in the Bauernstubb food, always we have delicious tender meat, delicious hearty pea soup or fresh cakes can enjoy. The service is very helpful and warm with "oureweller" charm. It can be crowded and crowded on sunny days with snow, but if you like it cozy and rustic, this is the place for you. In the summer in the Höhenhaus you can enjoy the great view instead of cuddly room. We always like to come 👍😀

The food was a bit tough and it pulled a little at our table. Otherwise very pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great place to go to after sledging in the snow, can be quite busy. Typical German kitchen.
